Performance Diagnosis:
Discover What Really Drives Preference.

Your product gets good ratings, but sales don't take off. Acting without a precise diagnosis is like navigating in fog.

Sabes dónde invertir tu presupuesto

Do you know where to invest your R&D budget?

Consumers say they "like it", but don't prefer it over the competition. Do you know for sure which attributes of your product really build loyalty and which are simply "correct" but irrelevant?

From Opinion to Strategic Decision

Our approach translates subjective opinions into clear strategic guidance. We identify with analytical rigor the true drivers of preference. We give you the compass to optimize your resources and win the market.

Methodologies for Precise Diagnosis

Each question about your product's performance requires a different analytical lens.

REAL IMPACT

Key Drivers Analysis

Not all attributes weigh the same. We quantify the real impact of each feature (flavor, texture, packaging) on purchase intent. You'll know what's critical and what's secondary.

STRENGTHS

Quadrant DQA

We cross performance vs. importance. This map reveals your key strengths, your urgent improvement areas and where you're overinvesting in low-relevance attributes.

FINE TUNING

Penalty Analysis (JAR)

Is your product "too sweet"? We identify the "penalty" in preference when an attribute isn't just right. Key to refining the formula.

PREDICTION

DOL Prediction Tool

Sensory science + Consumer voice. A predictive model that connects specific sensory notes (e.g. "creamy texture") with overall liking (Driver of Liking).

Integrated into Your Innovation Process

Product Tests (BPT, IPT, HUT): To understand the why behind product test results.
Concept Tests (CT, BCPT, ICPT): To evaluate which concept characteristics are most promising.
Driver of Liking (DOL): As the core for breaking down the levers of liking.

Success Story

The Challenge

A snack brand launched a new cookie that, in initial tests, obtained an overall liking score of 7.5/10, but purchase intent was low. They didn't know whether to improve the chocolate flavor or the crunchy texture.

The Solution

We conducted a Key Drivers Analysis and a Penalty Analysis (JAR). The data showed that, although flavor was important, "crunchy texture" was the main driver of purchase intent and suffered a strong penalty when perceived as "slightly soft".

The Result

The company focused a small part of its budget on adjusting the baking process to ensure optimal texture. In the next test, overall liking rose to 8.0/10, but most importantly, purchase intent doubled, ensuring a successful launch.
